Moreover, SNIP1 knockout exhibited significantly inhibited the invasiveness of breast cancer cells in vitro (Supplementary Fig. 1k, l), tumor metastasis to the lungs and metastatic lung nodule formation (Fig. 1j–m), and prolonged animal survival (Fig. 1n); similarly, re-expression of SNIP1WT but not the SNIP1K301R mutant restored the ability of cell invasion (Supplementary Fig. 1k, l), tumor lung metastasis (Fig. 1j–m), and shortened animal survival (Fig. 1n).
