Bonferroni-corrected pairwise comparisons revealed that the group with more than one relative with BRCA1/2 identified variant had a relative risk perception of breast cancer that was significantly higher (M = 4.38, SD = 0.51) than those who had a sister with an identified variant (M = 2.68; SD = 1.62). Here, BRCA1 is linked to breast carcinoma.
