Genes that were found to be upregulated in the early COVID-19 mortality cases and involved with the interferon (ISG20, IRF1, GBP2) and NF-κB (NFKB2, NFKBIA, TNFAIP3) pathways showed linear decline with longer symptomatic interval (Figure 2C). The gene discussed is TNFAIP3; the disease is COVID-19.
