The 12 OSCC xenografts closely represented their parental tumors both in cancer-associated mutations (such as TP53 mutation, CDKN2A mutation, EGFR amplification, and CCND1 amplification) and transcriptome profiles (enriched in the cell cycle, pathways in cancer, ECM-receptor interaction, and PI3K-Akt pathways).
