High KIAA0101 level was significantly associated with shorter survival in NSCLC patients, especially in LUAD [34], which was consistent with our findings that KIAA0101 was bioinformatically identified as a negative prognostic factor in patients with pTNM stage-I (HR: 2.41; 95% CI: 1.59–3.64; P < 0.0001) and stage-II (HR: 2.04; 95% CI: 1.25–3.33; P=0.0037). This evidence concerns the gene PCLAF and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
