Biomarkers such as CEA serum level, haemoglobin level, albumin level, white blood cell count, serum lactate dehydrogenase level, platelet count, alkaline phosphatase, lymphocyte count, CA19-9 level and CA125 level were found to be significantly associated with overall survival and could be collected and used as objective markers in future work on cancer prognosis.
