The results provide support for the hypothesis that exosomal miR-146a-5p and miR-155-5p contributes to the activation of CAFs through JAK2–STAT3/NF-κB inflammatory signaling, which upregulated cytokines IL-6, TGF-β, TNF-ɑ, and CXCL12 that reciprocally promoted EMT of CRC cells. The gene discussed is TNF; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
