CRP and acute kidney injury: At presentation, patients with eKDIGO AKI had a higher blood urea nitrogen (median 10.9 versus 6.4 mmol/l), C-reactive protein (median 95.3 versus 69 mg/L) and sCr (110 umol/l versus 80 umol/l), and lower estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR, estimated with CKD-EPI equation) (54 ml/min/1.73m2 versus 80 ml/min/1.73m2) compared to those without AKI.
