MAPK9 and Leber congenital amaurosis: Under treatment with LCA (60–180 μM) for 24 h, the phosphorylation or expression of p‐SAPK/JNK (Thr183/Tyr185), p‐p38 MAPK (Thr180/Tyr182), p‐ERK (Thr202/Tyr204) and ERK 1/2, did not change significantly when compared with the control group (Figures 4A and S4A–D); similar results were acquired for both the 12 and 6 h treatments (Figure S5A,B), thus suggesting that the suppression of proliferation by LCA was independent of the MAPK pathways.
