ALK and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Since the first‐generation ALK inhibitor crizotinib3 was the standard therapy for newly diagnosed ALK positive NSCLC, more potent CNS penetrating second generation ALK inhibitors such as ceritinib,4 alectinib,5 brigatinib,6 and lorlatinib7 have become the standard treatment as first‐line therapy.
