FGFR2 and cancer: Both FGFR2 and GFRA1 were defined as critical actors of the self‐renewal of spermatogonial stem cells.[43, 44] Moreover, recent data highlighted the role of FGFR2 in inducing germ cell differentiation.[45] All these data support the fact that TGR5 may play a critical role in the maintenance of the SSC pool and in the mechanisms of cell fate and regeneration following injuries, as illustrated here using anti‐cancer therapies.
