ATG3 and tuberculosis: Etna et al. [106] found Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) induced host miR-155 to target recombinant human autophagy-related 3 (ATG3) and impaired autophagosome formation in infected DCs to manipulate autophagy, proposing that normal autophagy could be reconstructed by antisense miR-155 molecules to treat tuberculosis.
