CEACAM5 and neoplasm: Numerous studies have revealed that clinicopathological characteristics, such as tumor site, increased CEA and CA19-9 levels, increased neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR), advanced TNM stage, lymph node ratio, tumor size, poor cell differentiation, tumor deposit, signet-ring cell, neural and lymphatic invasion, and incomplete chemotherapy, are risk factors for poor prognosis in gastric cancer (32–36).
