To further investigate the biological function of LAGE3 in HCC, we explored the effects of knocking down LAGE3 expression on cell proliferation, apoptosis, cell cycle, migration, and invasive malignant behaviors in HepG2, HuH7 and MHCC97H cell lines in vitro. Moreover, the function of LAGE3 on HCC progression was further identified by subcutaneous xenotransplanted tumor models of HepG2, HuH7 and MHCC97H cell lines in nude mice.
