In addition, a previous study showed that EMP1 in a variety of tumors, such as glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) [5], uveal melanoma [6], non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) [7], and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) [8], exhibited increased expression, whereas EMP1 in nasopharyngeal cancer [9], gastrointestinal cancers [10], colorectal cancer [11], and ovarian cancer [12] show decreased expression. Here, EMP1 is linked to nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
