Cluster of differentiation 44 (CD44) is overexpressed in several types of cancer including breast, lungs, ovary, brain, and hepatic carcinoma which are responsible for many metabolic activities of cancer cells such as cellular differentiation, migration, proliferation hematopoiesis, angiogenesis, and cell and tumor metastasis (Kesharwani et al., 2015a; Kesharwani et al., 2015b). Here, CD44 is linked to neoplasm.
