To further examine the role of TRPM2 in in vivo neuroblastoma tumor growth, athymic female mice were injected subcutaneously with 1.5 × 107 SH-SY5Y cells in which TRPM2 was deleted, scrambled control cells, or cells with TRPM2 deletion in which TRPM2 was reconstituted by stable transfection of full length wild type channel. The gene discussed is TRPM2; the disease is neuroblastoma.
