We systematically characterized the molecular alterations and clinical relevance of 13 histone acetyltransferase (HAT) and 18 histone deacetylase (HDAC) genes in five types of digestive cancers, including esophageal carcinoma, gastric cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and colorectal cancer. The gene discussed is HDAC9; the disease is pancreatic neoplasm.
