Our findings revealed that quercetin, as the main active component of AMB, could inhibit the inflammatory response, enhance fatty acid β-oxidation, and alleviate hepatic lipid accumulation via the AMPK/MAPK/TNF-α and AMPK/ACC/CPT1α signaling pathways to exert its anti-NAFLD effect (Figure 10).
