Previously, we determined the antitumor efficacy of SIRPαFc fusion protein and found that SIRPαFc elicited potent macrophage-mediated antitumor efficacy in NSCLC via blocking endogenous CD47-SIRPα phagocytosis-suppressive signals and inducing antitumor phagocytosis (21). The gene discussed is CD47; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
