There was little overlap between the patients with bTMB ≥ 16 and those with PD-L1 tumor proportion score (TPS) ≥ 50%, and bTMB ≥ 16 (yes versus no) was not significantly associated with TPS ( < 1%, ≥ 1% to < 50% and ≥ 50%) among patients shown in Fig. 3 (n = 64, P = 0.82), with 29% missing PD-L1 results.
