Here, while IFNγ restimulation induced an increase in gene expression of Icam1, but not Vcam1, HES and IL-27 did not significantly modulate neither Vcam1 nor Icam1 expression on murine PeM cells in vitro, indicating that alternative signaling mechanisms in the peritoneum regulate cell adhesion marker expression in response to a nematode infection (Figure S6).
