To examine the pharmacological effects of Ag120, we incubated two human CRC cell lines, HCT116 and HT29, with various concentrations of Ag120 or with 10 μM of V9302, a previously described ASCT2 inhibitor (Schulte et al., 2018) for 72 h and then analyzed the intracellular concentrations of glutamine, α-KG, ATP, NAD+/NADH, glutathione (GSH), and reactive oxygen species (ROS). The gene discussed is SLC1A5; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
