To further elucidate the role of RORA in leukemia, transformed BaF3 cells were constructed using a retroviral vector to co-express RORA and BCR/ABL1 (Figure 5C) The successful generation of BaF3-BCR/ABL1-Rora and BaF3-BCR/ABL1 cells was confirmed using western-blotting with antibodies against ABL1 and RORA, both of which were highly expressed (Figure 5D).
