In 2017, two CAR-T cell therapies targeting CD19 named tisagenlecleucel (Kymriah, Novartis) and axicabtagene ciloleucel (Yescarta, Kite Pharma) were approved by FDA for treating children and young adults with relapsed or refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and non-Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHLs), respectively26-28. Here, CD19 is linked to acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
