Although most tumor tissues showed an elevated expression of CTSL mRNA (Figure 5A), it was significantly elevated in eight tumor types, including DLBC, ESCA (Esophageal carcinoma), LGG (Brain Lower Grade Glioma), GBM (Glioblastoma multiforme), PAAD (Pancreatic adenocarcinoma), SKCM, STAD (Stomach adenocarcinoma) and THYM (Thymoma) (Figure 5A in red, 5B, p<0.01). The gene discussed is CTSL; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
