Although many studies have shown that inhibition of FLAP can significantly improve ischemic myocardial infarction [45], asthma [46], arthritis [47], breast cancer [23], lung cancer [25], and other diseases, the results of this study showed that FLAP can promote apoptosis of HepG2 cells and inhibit migration and proliferation of HepG2 cells. This evidence concerns the gene ALOX5AP and lung carcinoma.
