The KEGG enrichment analysis revealed that the differentially expressed circRNAs were enriched in 184 pathways, including cancer, metabolic pathways, PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, regulation of actin cytoskeleton, focal adhesion, Alzheimer’s disease, human papillomavirus infection, and apoptosis (Figure 4). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
