The PSTPIP1 gene mutations, affecting proteins of the inflammasome, have been proven in PAPASH (pyoderma gangrenosum, acne, arthritis, and HS) [26], and PASH (pyoderma gangrenosum, acne, suppurative hidradenitis) syndromes [27]. Here, PSTPIP1 is linked to pyoderma gangrenosum.
