In the analysis stratified by body mass index (BMI) value, ALL survivors with normal BMI range demonstrated greater levels of GIP (4993.09 ± 10750.06 pg/mL vs. 487.86 ± 278.73 pg/mL, p = 0.005) and lower levels of ghrelin (296.64 ± 232.40 pg/mL vs. 764.97 ± 557.20 pg/mL, p < 0.001) when compared to the control group. This evidence concerns the gene GIP and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
