Previously, TAO et al. [21,23] showed that chrysanthemum polysaccharide could improve ulcerative colitis by promoting the growth of beneficial intestinal flora, regulating intestinal microecological balance, and restoring the immune system, while significantly reducing the levels of inflammatory cytokines TNF-α, IL-6, IFN-γ, and IL-1β. This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and ulcerative colitis.
