In I-IPNB, CEA > 5 U/mL (risk ratio (RR): 4.74, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.27–17.73, p = 0.021), CA19-9 > 37 IU/L (RR: 3.99, 95% CI: 1.68–9.49, p = 0.002), mural nodule > 12 mm (RR: 4.44, 95% CI: 1.33–14.77, p = 0.015), IHD stones (RR: 0.018, 95% CI: 0.07–0.48, p = 0.001), and LN enlargement (RR: 5.00, 95% CI: 1.04–23.94, p = 0.044) were significant predictors of malignancy. This evidence concerns the gene CEACAM5 and lobular neoplasia.
