Clinical parameters, such as a younger age, asymptomatic infection, or lack of AIDS (according to the CDC 1993 case definition); female sex; HIV subtype B; viremia lower than 5 log copies/mL; and genetic parameters, such as the presence of the HLA-B*5701 allele, heterozygosity at rs333 in CCR5, and GG homozygosity at rs1799864 in CCR2 increased the likelihood of immune restoration.
