A retrospective analysis comparing the effects of first-line pembrolizumab in NSCLC patients with PD-L1 TPS ≥ 90% and with 50–89% expression demonstrated significantly prolonged ORR (60.0% vs. 32.7%), PFS (14.5 vs. 4.1 months), and OS (not reached vs. 15.9 months, HR 0.39) in patients with PD-L1 TPS ≥ 90% [19]. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
