An analysis of the CheckMate 568 study of nivolumab plus ipilimumab in NSCLC reported that ORR increased in patients with a higher tissue tumor mutational burden (tTMB) using the FoundationOne CDx (F1CDx) assay, plateaued at a threshold of 10 mutations (mut)/Mb (ORR: 4%, 10%, 44%, and 39% in patients with TMB <5, <10, 10, and ≥15 mut/Mb, respectively), and the enhanced response was independent of PD-L1 expression [34]. This evidence concerns the gene CD274 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
