CRP and infection: In univariate analysis, the factors associated with the severity of the infection were CRP > 100 mg/L (OR: 2.65, 95% CI: (1.98–3.56), p < 0.001), lymphopenia < 800/mm3 (OR: 1.70, 95% CI: (1.27–2.27, p < 0.001), and negative ∆L-H24 (OR: 2.03, 95% CI: (1.48–2.78); p < 0.001).
