According to our knowledge, the current study is the first that links the diagnostic characteristics of CCL2, CCL4, and CCL15 with the well-established, classical tumor markers (CEA and CA 19-9) and CRP—which is the marker of inflammation—in CRC patients, and not only in the entire study group, but also in subjects divided according to TNM stage. The gene discussed is CCL15; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
