It has been demonstrated that SIRT2 inhibition by TM, a potent SIRT2-specific inhibitor with a broad anticancer effect in numerous human cancer cells as well as mouse models of BC, promotes expression of the NEDD4 E3 Ubiquitin Protein Ligase for c-Myc, causing c-Myc ubiquitination and degradation. Here, UBE2E3 is linked to breast cancer.
