HNRNPK and in situ carcinoma: Hnrnpk, belonging to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins, and Rps21 and Rps6, ribosomal proteins with probable extra-ribosomal functions (see above Rps28), appeared only in CIS and CIS + LH, suggesting induction by CIS not influenced by the presence of LH and likely irrelevant for the proapoptotic effect of CIS on the ovarian tissues.
