Hnrnpk, belonging to the subfamily of ubiquitously expressed heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins, and Rps21 and Rps6, ribosomal proteins with probable extra-ribosomal functions (see above Rps28), appeared only in CIS and CIS + LH, suggesting induction by CIS not influenced by the presence of LH and likely irrelevant for the proapoptotic effect of CIS on the ovarian tissues. This evidence concerns the gene RPS28 and in situ carcinoma.
