The COMBI-d and COMBI-v trials compared the efficacy of treatment with two MEK and BRAF inhibitors (dabrafenib and trametinib) to monotherapy with dabrafenib or vemurafenib in patients with unresectable cutaneous melanoma (stage IIIC) or metastatic cutaneous melanoma (stage IV) with the BRAF V600 E/K mutation. Here, BRAF is linked to cutaneous melanoma.
