BDP1 mRNA expression is increased by the breast cancer chemotherapeutics doxorubicin (13.146-fold increase; p = 4.43 × 10−4), etoposide (9.703-fold increase; p = 8.15 × 10−4), fluorouracil (9.468-fold increase; p = 0.005), and bortezomib (1.831-fold increase; p = 0.002) in well-studied breast cancer cell lines [35,36], as shown in Figure 6.
