In this study, we combined clinical and bioinformatic data to perform bioinformatic characterization of whole blood leukocytes and identified potential neutrophil-related biomarkers in acute pelvic inflammatory disease, which were CALML4, COQ10B, PPP2R1A, and CALML4. These four biomarkers may be the correlated factors influencing the abundance of preoperative neutrophil infiltration in pelvic inflammatory disease and time to leukocyte recovery after single-port laparoscopy for acute pelvic inflammatory disease. The gene discussed is CALML4; the disease is pelvic inflammatory disease.
