IL10 and neoplasm: The presence of immunosuppressive cells such as dendritic cells (DCs), myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs), regulatory cells (Tregs), and M2 macrophages in solid tumors sites, which secrete suppressive cytokines-such as transforming the growth factor-β (TGF-β), adenosine, interleukin-10 (IL-10), and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) extracellularly-, suppresses the immune system and reduces the anti-tumor activity of CAR-T (37–40).
