Apart from JAK inhibitors, (Winthrop, 2017) many molecules have been developed that primarily inhibit STAT3 and STAT5 e.g., a STAT3 inhibitor CJ1383 which shows good results in two BC cell lines having elevated expression of phosphorylated STAT3 (Roskoski, 2015; Bharadwaj et al., 2016; Beebe et al., 2018; Kim and Strober, 2018). This evidence concerns the gene STAT5B and breast cancer.
