And at the genus level, our results suggested that the Acinetobacter was found with a higher relative abundance in PG group than NG group, and its role in the stomach is similar to that of H. pylori, resulting in gastritis, hypergastrinemia, over-production of inflammatory cytokine and gastrin, which cause gastric cancer and even colorectal cancer 23, 24. Here, GAST is linked to colorectal cancer.
