The GO analysis of our RNA-seq revealed that the major down-regulated immune pathways in BLM-treated GSDMD KO mice were associated with macrophage migration, T cell activation, antigen processing and presentation, and cytokine signaling (Fig. 4A), which indicated that the activity of GSDMD was involved in the activation of innate and adaptive immunity in scleroderma. The gene discussed is GSDMD; the disease is Bloom syndrome.
