Of the bladder cancer patients enrolled in the study, fifty four (5.2%) carried a BRCA2 mutation (C5972T) (OR = 0.9; 95% CI 0.66–1.26; p = 0.6) A C5972T mutation was seen in the 36 affected men (4.7%) and in 18 women (6.7%). Here, BRCA2 is linked to urinary bladder carcinoma.
