The discrepancy in the reported results could be related to the diverse chemotherapeutic regimens, sample size, etc. Thus, a randomized phase III study (NVALT22) aiming to compare the efficacy of “pemetrexed/cisplatin” and “paclitaxel/carboplatin/bevacizumab” in the first‐line treatment of patients with advanced KRAS‐mutant NSCLC was conducted, and showed that the two groups had a comparable PFS.27 This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
