As both IgG and IgA serum antibodies are quickly produced upon BNT162b2 vaccination (Samanovic et al, 2021), here, we characterized the SARS‐CoV‐2‐specific IgG, IgA, IgA1 and IgA2 response in the plasma and saliva of COVID‐19 patients and vaccinated individuals, both naïve and previously exposed to SARS‐CoV‐2. This evidence concerns the gene CD79A and COVID-19.
