HAVCR1 and gastric cancer: Emerging evidence has suggested that TIM-1 expression is correlated with several aggressive tumors such as renal cell carcinoma [10], human colorectal cancer [11], ovarian clear cell carcinoma [12], hepatocellular carcinoma [13], glioma [14], and gastric cancer [15], highlighting its potential oncogenic role and rendering it a novel and promising target for tumor therapy.
