Likewise, oxytocin monotherapy significantly prolonged QTc in wildtype rabbits, similarly as in previous case reports and animal studies that have shown QTc-prolongation both in normal subjects and - more pronouncedly - in the setting of reduced repolarization reserve as in LQTS or in chronic-ischemia induced APD-prolongation [11], [31].
